They go above and beyond in terms of customer service and friendliness. We have to give a special mention to some stand outs - Kana and Latchu, poolside, are a credit to the team at this hotel. On arrival at the hotel there were no cushions around the main pool on the sun loungers (they were in the rasa pool and garden area though), but a quick meeting with one of the managers to ask why and they were back on the poolside loungers from the next morning! As said before, the level of customer service at this hotel is amazing and is what keeps us coming back year after year. The club lounge always felt welcoming and relaxed whether during cocktail hours or just popping in for a coffee. All the staff at every level are friendly with a ready smile. ![]() Michelle and Markus are both amazing managers that are very hands on, constantly checking standards and ensuring guests are ok. Food at the Pinang bar was better in the evenings than during the day. We did have a couple of buffet dinners but were not overwhelmed at the quality for the price unfortunately. Yes, there were a lot of new staff and sometimes you had to wait a little longer than before for tables to be cleared of food to be delivered (especially when it got busy at breakfast or in the Pinang Bar) but obviously this will improve over time as training kicks in and new staff become more confident. We had expected things would be a little different post Covid but were pleasantly surprised and this stay exceeded our expectations. The club lounge benefits were exactly the same as our previous pre-covid tips too, it was like nothing had changed. Very spacious, great views over the pool and beach, huge shower, bathtub on the balcony and L'Occitane toiletries. We completely understood this and the staff were amazing at moving everything the next morning for us and making the switch so easily! The premier suite (now named the junior suite) in the Rasa Wing was just as we remembered it. On our original booking we had been provided with the exact room number we had requested if possible (many happy family memories attached to this room) but were told it wouldn't be available for the first night of our extended booking. We had left a previous hotel earlier than planned and the reservations team had managed to add on a back to back booking for us. From the second we checked in until the moment we left everything about our stay exceeded our expectations.
